False Reality takes on Argyle Street as part of their UK tour. The London band fuse UK beatdown violence with NYC hardcore, thrash, metal, grunge and shoegaze. On November 14th 2025, the London based four piece will release their devastating debut album, Faded Intentions, on Hassle Records.
Thematically, Faded Intentions explores betrayal, revelation, empowerment and revenge with constantly biting venom. There’s a golden thread running through the band name, album title — “It’s about watching someone close to you turn into a different person,” says vocalist Rachel Rigby” With the album, False Reality insist on not just lifting the veil on the truth, but tearing it to shreds with every note.
All told, False Reality deftly walks a fine line: their passion obviously revolves around hardcore, but they refuse to be purists about it. “Our music is a nod and a love poem to every band, genre and local hardcore scene that’s brought us to this point,” says Rigby, and Dale agrees. “We want to subvert expectations of what a hardcore band should be doing,” he says. With Faded Intentions, “we wanted to come out with something unexpected — and we’re proud of it.” With any justice, those subverted expectations will see False Reality transform from emerging heroes of the scene that raised them to a dominating force on the global circuit, ready to demolish anything and everything in their wake.
